U.S. Military Visit Brings First Aid Training to Yap Catholic High School

Yap FM - On August 11th, Yap Catholic High School shared highlights of the recent special visit of the United States military at the Joyce Memorial Library, where they provided valuable First Aid training to educators from Yap Catholic High School and Faith Christian Academy.
The training focused on equipping teachers and educators with essential First Aid knowledge and skills that can be useful in responding to emergencies. The session provided participants with an opportunity to strengthen their preparedness and confidence in handling potential medical situations at school.
The visit was also an opportunity for the school community to engage with members of the U.S. military and learn from their experience and expertise.
The First Aid training highlights the importance of emergency preparedness in schools and the value of partnerships that help strengthen the safety and well-being of students and educators throughout the community.
