The cases from the Main Hospital and Nimgil were diagnosed as acute gastroenteritis, likely caused by an infection, though no specific germs were found in lab tests. The case from Tegailap is suspected to be amoebiasis. Influenza-like illness (ILI) cases have also gone up to 19 this week, but remain below the alert level. These cases came from the Main Hospital (7), Woleai Health Center (7), Satawal Dispensary (4), and Ulithi Health Center (1).

The following health centers reported cases this week: Main Hospital, Nimgil CHC, Ulithi Health Center, Tegailap Dispensary, Woleai Health Center, and Satawal Dispensary. No cases were reported for acute fever with rash, prolonged fever, dengue-like illness, severe respiratory infection, or unusual health events.
Lab results this week identified 2 cases of chlamydia, 1 gonorrhea case, 1 co-infection of chlamydia and gonorrhea, 2 trichomonas vaginalis cases, 1 case of acute hepatitis B, and 1 staphylococcus infection.
