YAP, FM- (Yap State Court Press Release, May 15, 2025) – The Yap State Court has

issued a general court order, amending Rules 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the Rules of the State

Bar of Yap. These amendments reflect a requirement that an applicant successfully pass

Both the FSM bar exam and a general exam regarding the traditional and customary laws

of the State of Yap, which will be developed and administered by the Yap State Court.

A copy of the issued general court order will be posted on the bulletin boards at the Yap

State Court. You can also obtain a hard copy for a fee from the Clerk’s Office.
