Yap State Diarrheal Outbreak Situation Report #9

Yap FM - As of September 13, 2026, no new diarrheal cases were reported.

A total of 169 cases have been reported, with children comprising 77% of all cases. No patients are currently admitted.

Cases have been reported from Yap Main Hospital and several Outer Islands. Additional cases from Elato and Satawal are still being verified and are not yet included in the total.

Laboratory testing has identified Rotavirus, Sapovirus, E.coli, Giardia, and Salmonella, with some patients having more than one germ detected.
