Yap State Scholarship Program Announces New Loan Scholarship for Spring 2027

Yap FM - The Yap State Scholarship Program is preparing to expand educational financial assistance opportunities for eligible students, following an informational session held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the College of Micronesia-FSM, Yap Campus.

During the visit, the Scholarship Coordinator met with representatives of the Yap State Scholarship Program and the Workforce Enrichment Division to share important updates on the existing Yap State Scholarship and introduce a new Loan Scholarship. Both programs are expected to be available to eligible students beginning in the Spring 2027 semester.

The session provided students, faculty, and staff with an opportunity to learn more about the scholarship updates, understand the upcoming opportunities for financial assistance, and ask questions to gain further clarification.

The visit also highlighted the importance of continued coordination among the College of Micronesia-FSM, the Yap State Scholarship Program, and the Workforce Enrichment Division in ensuring students are informed about available resources to support their educational pursuits.

Through these collaborative efforts, the participating offices continue to support access to higher education and encourage students across Yap State to pursue their academic goals.

Additional information regarding eligibility requirements and application procedures for the new Loan Scholarship and the existing Yap State Scholarship is expected to be provided through the appropriate program offices.
