Yap State Shines with Spectacular Christmas Lights Displays Monday, January 10, 2025///DYCA PIO

Yap, FSM – Yap State embraced the holiday season with a dazzling array of Christmas lights, creating a festive atmosphere across the island. Thanks to a generous donation from Vital’s (FSMPC) Yap Branch and the support of local businesses, the Chamorro Bay Lagoon and surrounding areas were transformed into a Christmas light wonderland.

The highly anticipated Christmas Night Lights event, traditionally hosted at the Yap Living History Museum, took place this year at St. Fidelis Church in Kanif, Dalipebinaew. The local community collaborated to create a stunning holiday display for everyone to enjoy.

Additionally, Faith Christian Academy School welcomed visitors to its campus for the annual Christmas Festive Lights event, offering a magical stroll through its beautifully decorated grounds. Local businesses, including the Yap Cooperative Association (YCA), also joined the festivities by decorating their storefronts with vibrant holiday lights.

The united efforts of the community, along with contributions from local businesses and organizations, made the 2024 holiday season unforgettable, bringing joy and holiday cheer to residents and visitors alike.
