Youth Services at DYCA to Host Inaugural Youth Hiking Adventure

Colonia, Yap – This Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 8:00 a.m., the Division of Youth Services at DYCA will hold its first-ever Youth Hiking Adventure at the Colonia Public Park. This event aims to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among Yap's youth and community while appreciating the natural beauty of Yap.
The event will kick off with free health screenings offered by the Waab Community Health Center (WCHC). Additionally, representatives from the Election Office will be on-site to assist with voter registration updates for the 2026 General Election. After the morning registration, participants will be transported by bus to the Tamilyog Trail for the hike.
Upon returning to Colonia Public Park, a raffle drawing will take place, providing attendees with a chance to win various prizes. We encourage participants to remain for the raffle and to utilize the health screening services or visit the Election Office Table if they have not yet done so.
