YUMO Announces Controlled UXO Demolition in Fnaliliy

Yap FM - The Yap U.S. Military Operations (YUMO) has announced that a UXO Demolition Team will conduct small-scale controlled detonations in Fnaliliy on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., prompting temporary road restrictions in nearby areas to ensure public safety.

According to the notice issued by YUMO, the Yap State Police will temporarily restrict road access from Fedor, Yinuf, and Dalipbineaw beginning at approximately 10:45 a.m., about 15 minutes before the scheduled demolition activity.

Traffic restrictions are expected to remain in place until approximately 11:15 a.m., or until the Demolition Team provides the all-clear.

Members of the public are advised to avoid the affected areas during the operation, follow police instructions, and cooperate with authorities to ensure the activity is conducted safely.
