ANNOUNCEMENT - Demarcating the safety zone line at the Yap International Airport - 9/20/23

The Department of Youth and Civic Affairs would like to inform the general public and, in particular, the communities residing near the airport, that the Division of Land Resources under the Department of Resources and Development is currently in the process of redefining and demarcating the safety zone line around the airport property which includes the runway, terminal, and all facilities within the safety zone line.

The Department would also like to express its gratitude to all those that have been working hard in completing this process and we greatly appreciate your understanding as we undertake this important task of marking the safety zone line around the airport property area.
